Healing Tumbleweed

In our previous post we mentioned our wonderful partners for upcoming work with veterans, but we want to showcase the talented and giving people who work primarily with the rescued horses.  Many of these horses have come from horrible circumstances and require a lot of work to heal their bodies, as well as their ability to trust humans again.

Terry and Darlene (2 of our horse "healers": Terry is a Certified Practitioner of the Masterson Method and a certified Masterson Coach, and Darlene is finishing up her Masterson certification) worked with Tumbleweed at the Lifesavers Wild Horse Rescue in Lancaster.  Tumbleweed is a very large Mustang / Draft horse in his mid-teens.  He has some pretty serious pain in his back/ hind area- but he was more focused on getting back to the pasture with his mares than working with Terry and Darlene (he's a pretty sassy fella).  They did some calming core work with him to get him settled down, and were able to make progress relieving that pain so he could get back to his ladies.
