Introduction to Horse Communication

How it Begins

Every individual veteran starts with our 1-Day Introduction to Horse Communication program. This is a 4-5 hour session at one of our partner ranches (located in either Norco or Twin Oaks), and includes drinks, snacks and lunch. These programs are 1-4 veterans, with 2-3 EET Equine Practitioners (plus additional EET helpers) to guide a very personalized and impactful experience for the veterans and horses.

To have a sincere connection with the nature of the horse and truly be “one of the herd”, this starts on the ground. All EET programs are on the ground, eye-to-eye with the horse (no horseback riding involved). Trust, Awareness and Presence are formed between human and horse when humans begin to understand the language of the horse, and allow themselves to live in the moment.

After the first Introduction program, the veteran can then decide if they’d like additional programs to continue these experiences, or go on to equine training for vocation or volunteer work. Our programs are small so we can dedicate attention to each veteran’s goals and needs.

Our motto of “One Veteran at a Time” is at the heart of this program.

Diversity & inclusivity Statement

We at EET are firmly committed to celebrating diversity and are excited to learn from the varied backgrounds and lives of our partners and veterans.
When you are with EET, you are free to be you.

All our training facilities, instructors and programs are located in Southern California. All EET programs are free to veterans.
