Veteran Programs for Women

Women in the military can face a unique set of barriers, and can have trauma not related to combat or occupational circumstances (such as Military Sexual Trauma). Additionally, reintegrating successfully into their home communities proves extremely difficult as female veterans face systems that remain primarily male centered. EET has 1-Day enrichment programs, as well as equine job skills training, which are experiential and designed to focus on emotional healing and organic, behavioral change. EET’s protocol is a non-confrontational approach with no questions asked that relate to any service-related trauma. Through the horse-human interaction, conducted in a safe, outdoor environment, the veterans learn how to recognize their feelings, regulate emotions, and better communicate, as well as trust themselves and loved ones.

All our training facilities, instructors and programs are located in Southern California. All EET programs are free to veterans.
